He is the man for Texas A & M...
TAM has two outstanding parts to their football team. They have a great offensive line that thinks they are as good as 'Bama's. And they have Johnny Manziel. Johnny Football, Johnny Touchdown, Johnny here he comes and there goes. Boy are fun to watch. They will not be so much fun to watch this weekend when a weary Tide goes up against, you guessed it, a rested Texas A & M team, who was open last week. What's up with all these open dates. No fair. Paticularly no fair if it allows Johnny Manziel rest his legs and get ready for a heavy legged Crimson Tide defense that had to play 40 minutes agains the LSU Tigers. I'd like to point out that LSU only scored 17 points against a defense that played 75 offensive snaps, and stayed on the field 2/3 of the game. I think they did very well despite what others may say. They played well enough to give the offense a chance to win the game.
Now the offense needs to repay the favor. Tide offensive success is key to beating TAM. It keeps our defense off the field and also keeps the gifted freshman quarterback a spectator. More later next week.
