Rumors abound about Mitchell...
Alabama is set to tip it off tonight at 7:00 PM. Rumors are flying faster F-15 TomCats about the status of Tony Mitchell. Some say he hasn't practiced this week. Others say he is sick. Trying to get information out of this coaching staff is tough. I'm not sure that we will know anything his availabitity for tonight's game. I'll keep digging and calling my friends to see if I can find out, if anything, what's up. I tend to discount those rumors because the Tide is a 10.5 favorite tonight. That's a lot of points for a non-Mitchell team. Regardless, the Tide-Rebel series has spun itself into one hard nosed game. A win on the road is unusual for either team in this rivalry. With both teams at 14-7 and fighting for a place in the NCAA field of 64 don't look for either team to come out flat. Alabama isn't thinking about the NCAA. They are thinking about beating Ole Miss and nothing else. Both teams have had the week off due to the SEC schedule rotation, and both teams needed the break.
